Our Church is made up of a great group of people from a wide range of backgrounds, let’s introduce a few of us:
Revd Rob Farmer:
Welcome, I’m Rob, from Walsall in the West Midlands originally and prior to becoming a parish priest, I was a Sales Manager for an electrical engineering company. Since being ordained in 2006, I served as a curate in Lichfield and then became vicar at St James the Great in Longdon, Staffordshire, followed by St Marks’ Church in Shelfield. I moved to Worcester as Rector of St Martin’s church before moving to Holy Trinity and St Matthew’s. I’m married to Julie and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Laura and Katie. The final member of our family is our mad but adorable cockapoo called Freddie.
Hi, I’m Phil and Warden and PCC (Parochial Church Council) member at our church. You’ll see me each Sunday welcoming you to our church and I support Rob during services and with many of the administrative ‘behind the scenes’ tasks. I love rugby and rarely miss a Warriors game! However when I’m not at pitch-side, I enjoy listening to music, particularly Northern Soul!
Hello, I’m Penny and I am the Safeguarding Officer at Church. I am Deputy Church Warden and have been a member of the PCC for many years. I also lead and organise many of the social and fundraising activities at church. I love the outdoors and am frequently found walking or cycling in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
