How can I get more involved in Church Life?
Being part of a church community is the same as being part of any other community and getting involved will enable you get the most out of church life, meet some friends for life and also deepen your own relationship with God.
Firstly, you’re very welcome to come along to our Sunday morning services and get to know us! You’ll be very welcome. After the service, we typically have coffee and biscuits, which is a great opportunity to chat and get to know us!
As time goes on, you may like to be involved in the service, such as serving, preparing prayers or reading. But don’t worry, these are all optional and there is a great support team to help.
During the week, Revd Rob leads services at the various care homes in the community. He’s always looking for help with these – so if you’re around in the week, this may be an opportunity for you?
We have lots of social events so these are great times to get involved in a less formal way and have a fun. Just to warn you – cake is usually involved in most social events!
Alternatively, you may have skills and capabilities that will help with the running of the church or help to fulfil our mission. We are all different and the diversity of each other collectively builds a strong unit as a church together. If you’d like to help, give Revd Rob a call and have a chat about how you can help.
