HRH Prince Philip

The Duke of Edinburgh arrives for his visit to Richmond Adult Community College in Richmond, south west London.

It is with great sadness that we hear of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. We send our heartfelt condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and to all of the Royal Family in this time of loss.

Much will be said about the life and work of Prince Philip over the coming weeks and months and we want to acknowledge the great debt that is owed to him for his service to this country and as the consort to our Queen.

Prayers will be said at our services on Sunday and when we receive more information from Buckingham Palace and The Church of England a local memorial service may be held in Prince Philip’s honour.

Please check this page over the coming days for further information and in the meantime do pray for all concerned using these prayers.

FATHER of all, we pray to thee for those whom we love, but see no longer. Grant them thy peace; let light perpetual shine upon them; and in thy loving wisdom and almighty power work in them the good purpose of thy perfect will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALMIGHTY God, Father of all mercies and giver of all comfort; Deal graciously, we pray thee, with those who mourn, that casting every care on thee, they may know the consolation of thy love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Coronavirus and Church
Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, we’re having to make adjustments to our usual church service arrangements.

The Government guidance in the current lockdown permits churches to meet, providing precautions are taken. However, as our church does not have exclusive use of a building and Government guidance discourages meeting in groups, to protect the wellbeing of our congregation and community, we will continue to worship online for the foreseeable future. Access to the latest Sunday service will be available through our YouTube channel or links on our Facebook page or via this website (right).

We continue to offer a Link-line service at this time where church members make a phone call to support those self-isolating who may be feeling vulnerable and alone. If this will help you, please contact Rob.

There is some disruption in providing Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals at this time. You should speak to the Team Office for further advice on 01905-358083 or contact Revd Rob Farmer.

Stay Safe!
